The sweet potato that is not a potato! Aside from the fact that the two grow underground, they have nothing in common and belong to another botanical family. Sweet potatoes are considered one of the healthiest and most nutritious vegetables. After cooking, the purple or slightly orange color remains. A colorful fun experience. Our sweet potato fettuccine are ideal for Asian dishes because they have the consistency of glass fettuccine after cooking. Children love them.

RECIPE SUGGESTION



SWEET POTATO LINGUINE WITH CREAMY PARMESAN SAUCE

  • 100 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 small bunch of flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 50g butter
  • 200 ml of cream
  • 150 g parmesan
  • salt, pepper and pinch of sugar
  • 250 g sweet potato fettuccine


METHOD

Crush the garlic, chop the parsley and cut the tomatoes into quarters. Melt 40 g of butter in a saucepan, add the garlic followed by the cream and season with salt, pepper and sugar. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes. Once the sauce has thickened, add 100 g of Parmesan and remove the pan from the heat. Cook the fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Drain the fettuccine and add the cream sauce. Return the pan to the heat and add the parsley and remaining butter. Serve with the rest of the grated Parmesan and the tomatoes.
